Loft-For Your Fish

If I told you that you can install a loft in your garden pond for your fish to enjoy, you would probably think I was crazy. I couldn’t believe it either, but it’s true you can put a loft in your garden pond. I just had to show you this.So what is a fish loft ?

I can’t give you in depth information about this garden pond gadget as I can only find the one website where it seems to be available and that is all in a language that I can’t understand. But I will try to describe it..

There seems to be a base unit that sits on the bottom of your pond and than a large clear tube fits on top of  it leaving a size-able gap for your fish to swim through. The air is then sucked out of the tube so it fills with the pond water and the fish can swim clear of the pond.

So this clear tube sticks up out of the pond water and your fish can swim up the tube, from a distance it looks like you have flying fish. It is actually quite weird and I don’t know if the fish will like it or not. I would imagine that there must be some kind of water circulate involved otherwise on a hot day the water in the tube will become very hot, but like I said I couldn’t understand the language.

Because my lack of understanding of the said language I have no idea how much this fish loft is, all I know is I stumbled upon it and was quite amazed so I  thought it was worth sharing with you.
