Pond Fogger

A pond fogger is exactly what you would expect it to be from its name. This little gadget will create a fog on and around your pond. Do  you really want a fog around your pond.

Well I guess this really is a personal thing. I’m not sure that it is really worth the cost as a good one isn’t cheap. I can understand wanting to put some nice lights around your pond especially if you enjoy your garden in the summer evenings. But I’m not sure about the fog, although I have seen one in action and it does look pretty effective as long as there is no wind.

A fogger normally comes with a transformer and you place the fogger in your pond, plug it in and there you have it your own for to create an eerie atmosphere around your pond. A lot of foggers come complete with led lights which adds to the effect.

If you have a water garden then there is no problem but if you keep fish will a fogger be safe for them. I am pretty sure that there are some foggers that aren’t safe for fish although all the ones that I have come across for sale are said to be fish friendly and pose no danger to the fish at all.

So do you like the sound of a fogger, will it be a pond accessory that you will not be able to resist. I won’t be investing in one, and even if you do will it be something that you would actually use much. It may be that you just use it when you have a party or a social gathering to add to the atmosphere.
