Pond Inspiration

When we decide that we are going to make the great decision of adding a pond to our garden, it’s hard sometimes to imagine how it will look when we have finished.

So what do we do, after all the planning stage of a pond build is a very important one and if we get it wrong at this stage then we may end up with a pond that isn’t how we imagined it. There are some people that can visualize very easily and build to that exact visualization, they are lucky.

If you are not one of the lucky ones then you need to find some inspiration from somewhere and the best way to do that is to try and get a look at some other ponds before you start your own. If you have any family or friends that have a pond then that is a great place to start. If not then try garden centers or parks they often have ponds in them. Checkout your own neighbourhood to see if you can spot any ponds, if so approach the owner and ask to have a closer look, you will find that most pond owners are very proud of their creations and are only to happy to show them off, you can also get some good advice and tips this way from a close by source of information.You could end up with a new friend that will help you with your own pond creation.
