Small Pond
What about those of us that only have small backyards or gardens, we haven’t got room to put in a great big pond with waterfalls and fountains. But we still want to be able to keep fish and enjoy a fishpond. This is where the small pond comes into play. We don’t have to have large ponds and for those who have limited space then there are options for enjoying a garden pond. There have been plenty of ways to have a small pond in your backyard over the years, people have used old basin’s, barrels and even large terracotta plant pots.
But there are small ponds available for those who have limited space. There really are some great designs that can compliment any small garden.
One of my favorites is the self contained unit that will accommodate around six fish and has a built in pump and a waterfall with a built in filter. These units can even be installed indoors if preferred. They really do look great and considering they come with a built in pump, waterfall and filter are very reasonably priced.
The more simple types are really just large plastic containers and although they don’t look as great as the other type are very cheap and adequate for a small pond in a limited area.
In between the two are some small traditionally preformed flex ponds that easily snap into shape when unpacked and are then ready to install, they range in size and price depending on the space available.
To make it easy for you to view these I will list them below, so just click on the one you might be interested in and you can get a picture with all it’s details.
They are great aren’t they, so if you have a limited area you can have a pond after all and enjoy tranquility and beauty that they bring.
